Bidwill, 58, attended Georgetown Prep in Bethesda, Maryland for high school. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in finance from Saint Louis University in 1987. He earned his law degree from Catholic University in 1990.

Bidwill was a federal prosecutor in Phoenix from 1990 to 1996.

Bidwill served as the team's president from 2007-19 and became the owner of the team after the death of his father, Bill, in 2019.

He once was a ball boy for the Cardinals and represents the third generation of leadership for the team in the Bidwill family following his grandfather Charles, who purchased the team in 1933, and father, Bill.

Under Michael Bidwill, the Valley has hosted three Super Bowls at State Farm Stadium, their home in Glendale, most recently to conclude the 2022-23 season.

Michael Bidwill's NFL/leadership roles

Bidwill has chaired the NFL's Conduct Committee that reviews the league's personal conduct policy.

He has also chaired the NFL's Security and Fan Conduct Committee.

He has served on the board of the National Football Foundation and on Arizona's Super Bowl Host Committee, as well as in other NFL and local committees, including as a member of the board for the Pat Tillman Foundation.

Michael Bidwill's love for flying

An avid pilot, Bidwill often uses his plane to fly Cardinals players to and from locations, including last season when he picked up Marquise "Hollywood Brown" and flew him to Arizona shortly after news broke that the team had acquired the wide receiver in a trade with the Baltimore Ravens.
