Arizona Coyotes center Nick Bjugstad will join the Edmonton Oilers after he was traded for a 2023 third-round draft selection on Thursday.

Defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere traded to Carolina Hurricanes for draft pick

Shayne Gostisbehere was traded to the Carolina Hurricanes in exchange for a 2026 third-round draft choice on Wednesday.

Gostisbehere spent the last two seasons with the Coyotes and registered 82 points (24 goals, 58 assists) in 134 games. He led all Coyotes defensemen with 31 points (10 goals, 21 assists) and was fourth on the team in scoring. He also had two shorthanded goals this season.

“I think it was a win-win," Coyotes general manager Bill Armstrong said. "He got a lot better as a player and helped us win some games.
