The Arizona Diamondbacks unveiled their schedule for 2023, providing their first look at the balanced schedule that major league baseball will be adhering to next season.

For the first time in club history, the Diamondbacks will face every team in baseball next season. They will host 22 teams at Chase Field, starting with the Los Angeles Dodgers on April 6 in the home opener.

The Diamondbacks will open next season at Dodger Stadium on March 30, the first of a four-game series in Los Angeles followed by a two-game set in San Diego.

Eight American League teams will travel to Chase Field next season: the Kansas City Royals (April 24-26), Boston Red Sox (May 26-28), Cleveland Guardians (June 16-18), Tampa Bay Rays (June 27-29), Seattle Mariners (July 28-30), Texas Rangers (Aug. 21-22), Baltimore Orioles (Sept. 1-3) and Houston Astros (Sept. 29-Oct. 1).

The Diamondbacks will travel to the other seven American League ballparks next year with the schedule expected to be reversed the following year, with the Diamondbacks visiting in 2024 the AL teams they host in 2023.

The balanced schedule means that facing teams in the division 19 times a year will become a thing of the past. The Diamondbacks next year will face National League West rivals 13 times each.
