Mikal Bridges' infectious smile stretched across his face like a captivating bridge all Tuesday night at Chase Field.

The Phoenix Suns star wing celebrated his 26th birthday at "Mikal Bridges Appreciation Day" that came about after winning a Twitter bet with the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The D-Back betted Bridges they'd win a three-game homestand in Philadelphia over his hometown Phillies back in June.

The Phillies took two out of three.

Had the Diamondbacks won the series in Philadelphia, Bridges would've had to wear a full D-Backs uniform to a game in Phoenix.

So when the Phillies made the trip West to face the Diamondbacks this week, Bridges received a fun-filled appreciation day Tuesday.

Along with Suns teammates Cam Johnson and Cameron Payne, Bridges watched batting practice before the game.

Wearing a red Diamondbacks jersey with his No. 25 and last name on the back, Bridges threw out the first pitch, but he was riding with the Phillies.

Bridges wore a white "I Ride With Philly Rob" tee underneath the D-Backs jersey.

Payne and Johnson also sported white D-Backs jerseys with their last names and Suns numbers on the back. Suns two-way player Ish Wainright was also in attendance.

D-Backs outfielder Jake McCarthy is Payne's favorite player.

The fans later sang happy birthday to a smiling Bridges.

The D-Backs won, 12-3, Tuesday but that didn’t erase the big smile Bridges had going all night celebrating his birthday with friends and fans at Chase Field.

The Suns open training camp next month as they’re coming off an historic season of winning a franchise-record 64 regular-season games.

The top overall seed reached the Western Conference semifinals before losing Game 7 to the Dallas Mavericks by 33 points at Footprint Center.
