USA TODAY Sports has released its annual list of MLB player salaries for the 2023 season and the Arizona Diamondbacks come in at No. 21 in team payroll at $116,471,292 for this season.

The highest payroll in baseball this season belongs to the New York Mets at $353,546,854.

The Oakland Athletics are the lowest at $56,895,000.

Pitcher Madison Bumgarner is the Diamondbacks' highest paid player this season with a salary of $21,882,892.

Second baseman Ketel Marte is second, at $11,600,000, with shortstop Nick Ahmed third at $10,375,000.

Pitcher Merrill Kelly is fourth with a salary of $8,500,000 and first baseman Christian Walker rounds out the Top 5 at $6,500,000.
