Arizona Federal Theatre has changed its name to Arizona Financial Theatre.
The change reflects the naming sponsor’s expansion of services across the state.
Last April, Arizona Federal Credit Union’s members voted to approve switching the financial institution from a federally chartered credit union to a state-chartered one.
With this change, they removed the word Federal from their name, becoming Arizona Financial Credit Union.
The newly named Arizona Financial Theatre, at 400 W. Washington St. in downtown Phoenix, seats 5,000 people and welcomes more than 275,000 live music fans annually. The venue also hosts comedy shows, political rallies and other events.

Fourth name change for the theater
Arizona Financial Theatre is the venue's fourth name:
It opened in the spring of 2002 as the Dodge Theatre.
Comerica Bank acquired naming rights in 2010, renaming the theater Comerica Theatre.
It was renamed Arizona Federal Theatre in December 2019.
In a press release, Ronald L. Westad, president and CEO of Arizona Financial Credit Union, said, “This theatre is home to so many amazing memories for Arizonans, from seeing a favorite band to even graduating college, it’s hosted a variety of joyous occasions and we are so excited to continue to have a part in that magic."
