These Arizona restaurants were named best in the Southwest, including the No. 1 spot
Yelp released its list of Top 100 Places to Eat in the Southwest 2023 and 32 Arizona restaurants made the cut. Plus, the number one restaurant on the list is right here in the Grand Canyon State.
Described as "an all-time list of the top 100 places to eat in the Southwest," the ranking considered factors such as reviewers' ratings and total volume. Yelp chose from restaurants in Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Colorado and Utah. Arizona had the most restaurant representation of all the states.
The restaurants spanned a wide range of cuisines including Mexican, Korean, Iraqi and Armenian. A fine dining restaurant also made the list.
The number one spot was Tumerico, a James Beard Award semifinalist in Tucson known for its innovative plant-based Sonoran cuisine.
