Pac-12 football Week 2 picks, predictions:

Picks and Parlays: Oklahoma State 42, ASU 21

It writes: "The Cowboys have to figure out how to stop a passing offense this season or it will be a short lived top 25 sitting. The offense for Oklahoma State is powerful and should be able to keep pace with the Arizona State scoring. With that being the case and the fact that Arizona State relies on their rushing attack mainly, instead of passing it will be easy to see Oklahoma State stop the Sun Devils scoring machine."

Odds Checker: Take the over in ASU vs. Oklahoma State game

Matt MacKay writes: "Arizona State fumbled three times last week and while only one resulted in a turnover, the Cowboys are too talented to commit these types of miscues. Jones' passing was mostly targeting the intermediate routes that were open due to the coverage Central Michigan deployed rather than making impressive throws in tight coverage. The Sun Devils possess a talented secondary and get tutelage from legendary NFL defensive back, Herm Edwards, so they could pose a challenge to Sanders. At the same time, the Cowboys have a prolific receiving corps and a talented, big-arm quarterback. They can also pivot to running the ball effectively if the Sun Devils' secondary proves to be problematic. Arizona State could hang around and whittle Oklahoma State's lead down to under 11.5 points, which is why I like the over (54.5) to hit between these two teams in Stillwater on Saturday night."

Sports Chat Place: Go with the over in Arizona State vs. Oklahoma State game

Chris Ruffolo writes: "I’m honestly having a hard time with this one, because I don’t think week 1 did either team any favors. It’s hard to get a read on Arizona State with a win over Northern Arizona, but Oklahoma State took their foot off of the gas like I’ve never seen before against Central Michigan, going from 51-15 up in the second half to winning by just two scores. All in all, I’m going with the over here because I just think that Oklahoma State’s going to rip off a lot of big plays like they did against CMU, but I’m still not trusting this Cowboy defense, even against Arizona State. Give me the over here."

Betting Pros: Take Arizona State on the moneyline vs. Oklahoma State

It writes: "Arizona State dominated their FCS opponent, Northern Arizona, to the tune of 40-3. The offense, after a slow start, got going and posted 34 points in just over 23 minutes of game time before taking the foot off the pedal in the 4th quarter. The defense started hot and stayed hot, holding Northern Arizona to 3.2 yards per pass attempt and 1.0 sack-adjusted yards per rush attempt. Oklahoma State will provide greater challenges on both sides of the ball, but the spread is more indicative of the teams’ success, or lack thereof, from 2021 and not an indication of how much closer these teams are this year. If Oklahoma State isn’t careful in this spot, they’ll be on upset alert, and that is exactly where I see this game going."
