Utah at Arizona State, 2 p.m. Sunday, Desert Financial Arena, Pac-12 Mountain, KDUS (1060 AM) — ASU (9-5, 1-0 Pac-12) is coming off an upset 57-52 overtime win against No. 22 Colorado on Friday after a 22-day layoff from COVID postponements. Guard Taya Hanson had her best performance of the season, shooting five-for-12 with 17 points and seven rebounds, while nailing three 3-pointers. Utah (9-5, 0-2) lost 76-64 at No. 10 Arizona. Utah guard Gianna Kneepkens scored 15 points on four-of-eight shooting, while forward Jenna Johnson, Utah's leading scorer, was limited to three points. The freshman usually averages 13.4 points as Utah's offense leads the Pac-12 with an average of 83.2 points. Last season, both teams played on Jan. 24 in Tempe with Utah winning 65-51.
