Top Bet: UCLA 74, Arizona 71

It writes: "UCLA is heating up again after losing to the Oregon Ducks on Jan. 13. Since that defeat, the Bruins have gone 3-0 straight up, with wins over the Oregon State Beavers, Utah Utes, and the Colorado Buffaloes last Saturday on the road. The tandem of Johnny Juzang and Javier Jaquez Jr. led the way for the Bruins, as they scored 23 and 14 points, respectively. This is an experienced UCLA squad that made it all the way to the National Championship Game last season and has also kept the core of that unit. That should matter against a rejuvenated Arizona program but seemingly lacks the experience. In fact, according to KenPom, the Wildcats are 355th in the nation in terms of the site’s metrics of experience. The Bruins’ experience is also reflected by the fact that they are no. 1 in the Pac-12 in terms of free-throw attempt to field goal attempt ratio. The over is 8-2 in UCLA’s last 10 games when the Bruins were the home team."

The Score: Arizona will beat UCLA on the road

Matthew Winick writes: "UCLA has been poor offensively, ranking just 116th in KenPom's effective field-goal-percentage metric. That output simply won't cut it against Arizona, the country's second-best field-goal defense. Arizona's high-powered, unselfish offense should also cause problems for a Bruins team that isn't overly athletic on the perimeter. UCLA ranks in just the fifth percentile in transition defense, per Synergy Sports, while the Wildcats rank near the top of the country in fast-break points. Especially considering Tuesday's game will be played without fans, Arizona should have no trouble winning handily against the Pac-12's preseason favorites."

The Game Haus: Arizona 77, UCLA 73

James Navalance writes: "UCLA has the ability to reestablish themselves as the premier team in the league against Arizona. Now, it begins with the offensive ability of Johnny Juzang and Jaime Jaquez. Continued, the level of play for Tyger Campbell will be important on both ends throughout this game. Having a third offensive option for UCLA is important with Jules Bernard and David Singleton. The interior play for UCLA must be very good with Myles Johnson and Cody Riley. The UCLA defense must play at a high level against Arizona throughout to win this game. Arizona’s offensive firepower will be on display and will lead them to the road win over UCLA."

CBS Sports: Arizona 81, UCLA 76

David Cobb writes: "Arizona faces a quick turnaround with just one day off between a win at Cal on Sunday and this top-10 road showdown that will help shape the Pac-12 race. But it will take more than scheduling inconveniences to slow down this prolific offense. Fans are back at Pauley Pavilion after COVID-19 restrictions kept the gym quiet since Dec. 1, and the the energy they bring should help UCLA. But the Wildcats should be able to outscore the Bruins and win a thriller."

Action Network: Take the Wildcats vs. Bruins

D.J. James writes: "Arizona has a significant height advantage, which will provide it multiple second scoring chances on the glass. If Tubelis misses the game, the Wildcats are a bit more short-handed, but Koloko and Ballo can split the down low duties, like they did against Cal. Arizona can match the UCLA outside attack, so this negates one of UCLA’s major strengths. Arizona’s interior defense is elite and will continue to be here. Take the Wildcats at -2 and play it to -4."

Picks and Parlays: UCLA 76, Arizona 70

It writes: "These two teams rank in the top 20 in offensive efficiency, so the over is my lean on the total. UCLA is the more experienced team and knows the importance of taking care of business on their home floor. Take the Bruins to win at home."

ESPN: Arizona has a 52% chance to win the game

The site's Basketball Power Index gives UCLA a 48% chance to win.
