Arkansas Arts Academy to celebrate cultural contributions from Black community

ROGERS, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — The Arkansas Arts Academy in Rogers will celebrate the contributions of the Black community to American culture through dance, food, spoken word and more.

Performances will come from students and community artists as well as guest appearances from local leaders of the Black community.

The event is on February 15 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the academy’s high school campus on Poplar Street.

Tickets are $10 for students or $20 for adults. The academy’s culinary team will cook New Orleans-inspired cuisine which is included with the tickets.
