Arkansas baseball score vs. Oklahoma State: Live updates from College Baseball Showdown
No. 6 Arkansas baseball continues its opening weekend at the College Baseball Showdown in Arlington, Texas, on Sunday. The Razorbacks are one of six teams at the tournament at Globe Life Field, and they face No. 8 Oklahoma State on Sunday (2:30 p.m. CT).
Both teams are 1-1. Arkansas beat No. 24 Texas Friday but lost to No. 17 TCU Saturday. Oklahoma State beat Missouri, then lost to No. 9 Vanderbilt.
The Razorbacks will start junior left-handed pitcher Hunter Hollan against the Cowboys. Hollan is a new addition from the junior college ranks, where he made 18 starts with a 3.59 ERA last season.
Oklahoma State will start senior right-hander Bayden Root, who is making his first start as a Cowboy. He posted a 7.96 ERA in 21 relief appearances last season.
Sunday's game is a rematch of last year's Stillwater Regional, the highest-scoring regional in NCAA Tournament history. The Razorbacks beat the Cowboys 20-12, lost 14-10 in extra innings, then won 7-3 to advance to the super regional round.
