Arkansas basketball will play Baylor in 2023 SEC/Big 12 challenge
Arkansas basketball gets a rematch of its 2021 Elite Eight loss in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge. The Razorbacks will play Baylor on Jan. 28, 2023 at either 3 or 5 p.m. CT on ESPN.
Arkansas fell 81-72 to Baylor in the 2021 NCAA Tournament in Indianapolis. The Bears went on to win the national title.
The Razorbacks have played in eight SEC/Big 12 Challenges and are 4-4 in such games. This past season, Arkansas beat West Virginia to help the SEC win six of the 10 games.
Arkansas is receiving plenty of preseason hype, including a No. 1 ranking in ESPN’s first Way-Too-Early Top 25. Thanks to a recruiting class ranked No. 2 in the country, the Razorbacks are expected to have another big season.
