Arkansas Colleges of Health Education celebrates its third commencement Saturday

Arkansas Colleges of Health Education will celebrate its third graduation ceremony on Saturday, May 21.

The commencement will be at the Stubblefield Center on the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith campus.

The Arkansas Colleges of Health Education's first class of doctors of osteopathic medicine graduated on May 15.

A total of 148 students from the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine and 38 students from the Master of Science in Biomedicine will receive diplomas.

The DO graduates had a 99% match for their residencies. Students have matched everywhere from Hawaii to New York, and Chicago to New Orleans. In Arkansas, 33 students placed in residencies.

Overall, the vast majority of students placed in the Arkansas service area. In addition, the college had several students place in some of the most competitive specialties.
