Arkansas football players Myles Slusher, Anthony Brown arrested for disorderly conduct

FAYETTEVILLE - Arkansas football defensive backs Myles Slusher and Anthony Brown were arrested by Fayetteville police on disorderly conduct complaints early Sunday morning and less than eight hours following the Razorbacks' 21-19 homecoming loss to Liberty.

According to a police dispatch log, officers responded to a call about a disturbance in the 300 block of N. West Ave. just after 2 a.m. where both were placed under arrest. Both were booked at the Washington County Jail.

“We are aware of the incident involving Anthony Brown and Myles Slusher,” coach Sam Pittman said in a statement. ”We are in the process of gathering information from the proper authorities. Once we have that information, we will determine their status with our team.”

Slusher, 20, is a junior from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

Brown, 19, is a freshman from Milan, Tennessee.

Both are scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 1. They were both released on $265 bail.

Slusher has dealt with injuries throughout the season but has started at nickel back when healthy. He has played in five games this season with 20 tackles and two sacks.

Brown has not played this season.
