MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Arkansas football is playing in a bowl game for the second straight season, taking on Kansas in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl.
Arkansas (6-6) is playing in its sixth Liberty Bowl. Its last appearance came at the end of the 2015 season, when the Razorbacks beat Kansas State 45-23. The Jayhawks (6-6) are making their first bowl appearance since 2008.
The two teams haven't played each other in more than a century. Their last meeting was in 1906, when Arkansas beat Kansas 37-5.

Despite losing more than 20 players to the transfer portal and having multiple key players opt out to prepare for the NFL Draft, Arkansas' offense will have some of its bigger names available. Quarterback KJ Jefferson, star running back Rocket Sanders and leading wide receiver Matt Landers will suit up in the Liberty Bowl.
