Arkansas Razorbacks football WR Treylon Burks opts out of bowl game, will enter 2022 NFL Draft

One of the best wide receivers in Arkansas football history is on to the NFL.

Treylon Burks announced Wednesday via Twitter that he is entering the 2022 NFL Draft and will not play in the Outback Bowl against Penn State on Jan. 1.

"Other than representing my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, there has been no greater honor in my life than representing Warren and the entire State of Arkansas these past three years," Burks wrote in his note on Twitter.

Burks totaled 1,104 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns in his breakout 2021 season, for which he earned first-team All-SEC honors from both the AP and the conference's head coaches.

Burks will leave Fayetteville ranked inside the top six in program history in career receiving yards, catches and touchdown receptions.
