Arkansas softball vs. Oregon: Live updates from NCAA Tournament regional final

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas softball is one win away from advancing to NCAA Tournament super regionals for the second consecutive year. The Razorbacks will play Oregon in a rematch Sunday (1 p.m. CT, SEC Network).

Arkansas (44-9) beat the Ducks 6-2 on Saturday in a pitchers' duel between Chenise Delce and Makenna Kliethermes. A three-run home run in the sixth inning by Linnie Malkin started the scoring for Arkansas, and the Razorbacks stayed in the winners bracket.

Oregon (32-7)played an elimination game against Wichita State late Saturday night. The game had been set for 6 p.m. but a two-and-a-half-hour weather delay during Arkansas’ game meant the Shockers and Ducks started around 10 p.m.

Oregon eliminated Wichita State with an 8-1 win. The Ducks would have to beat the Razorbacks twice on Sunday to advance to the super regionals. If Arkansas wins, it will host the super regional at Bogle Park.
