Arkansas’ season-ending win over Missouri lifted the Razorbacks to their best regular-season finish in 10 years. It also ensured the Hogs would be ranked in both major polls to end the season.

Arkansas finished the regular season No. 23 in the Associated Press media poll that was released Sunday afternoon. About an hour earlier, the Hogs checked in at No. 25 in the coaches poll.

The Razorbacks finished the season 8-4 and snapped a five-game losing streak to the Tigers to win the Battle Line Rivalry in the finale. Coach Sam Pittman and his team now simply wait to know their bowl destination. That could come as soon as Monday, but it’s likelier to be later in the week.

The SEC has 13 teams with bowl-eligibility. It also had six teams ranked in the AP Poll: No. 1 Georgia, No. 4 Alabama, No. 8 Ole Miss, No. 23 Arkansas, No. 24 Texas A&M and No. 25 Kentucky.
