FAYETTEVILLE — No. 23 Arkansas women’s basketball opens SEC play on Thursday when it hosts No. 9 LSU.
The Razorbacks (13-2) started the season with 13 consecutive wins but have since suffered back-to-back losses in their most recent games. Arkansas fell to No. 16 Oregon, then to USF in overtime.
Arkansas is 2-1 against top 25 competition this season, having beat No. 25 Kansas State and No. 17 Creighton.
LSU (12-0) has yet to play a top 25 opponent this season. The only Power 5 competition on its non-conference slate came against Oregon State.
