Arlington Restaurant Inspections: 4 Violations At 4 Locations

ARLINGTON, VA — Officials from Arlington County Public Health inspected food preparation and storage businesses in Arlington County. Between Oct. 26-Nov. 1, officials inspected 18 businesses, of which four restaurants were in violation.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, some of the inspections were conducted virtually, and, therefore, the violations cited may not be an exhaustive list of possible violations at particular establishments. In addition, inspectors visited many of the 18 restaurants to ensure that they were in compliance with Gov. Ralph Northam's Phase 3 guidelines.

Violations noted below — such as the one at Moby Dick House of Kabob — involve those issues that would typically require a re-inspection if not corrected or those that are more likely than other violations to contribute to food contamination.

"In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations," according to Virginia Department of Health's website.

Here are the inspection violations reported between Nov. 2-Oct. 25:

Moby Dick House of Kabob, 4037 Campbell Avenue Arlington, VA 22206
