Armando Bacot hints he wants Hunter Dickinson to join UNC

As the college basketball world gets ready for this weekend’s Final Four in Houston, the rest of the nation’s attention has shifted to the transfer portal. It’s already been a very active transfer portal for the North Carolina Tar Heels. Six players have entered and one player has arrived. And the next few weeks will continue to be busy for coaches and players.

One big name that entered the portal on Friday was Michigan big man Hunter Dickinson. After years with the Wolverines, Dickinson is planning to transfer out of the program. One UNC player is already doing some recruiting, sort of.

Armando Bacot tweeted out a photo of him and Dickinson together going back to their AAU days with the caption “Leak the script @NCAA” jokingly referring to the NFL “script leak” that was a running joke from former running back Arian Foster:

The Tar Heels have spots open and both Bacot and Dickinson have played together before. However, this is a LONGSHOT for Dickinson to join the Tar Heels as he would likely have to play the four spot anyway.

But it doesn’t hurt to have a little fun.
