Army father surprises daughter before Christmas

U.S. Army Private Second Class Christian Salinas surprised his daughters Tuesday morning at Irons Middle School with an unexpected return home for Christmas and the holidays.

He surprised his daughters, including 6th-grader Azailiah Sanchez in a coordinated and secret homecoming gathering at her school before the holidays.

Sanchez said seeing her father was an emotional experience that triggered a lot of happy memories.

"I haven't seen him since September and him not being home was a little hard, so this was the best present I could get," she said.
