Army vet: How his careers at Schwinn and the military are connected through community, service, and family

Army Veteran Roy Sternberg is Schwinn’s Facility and Sample Supervisor. He told Fox News, ‘I proudly served in the United States Army, possibly the highest number taken in the last draft in August 1972! I worked for a Schwinn dealer from 1970-1972 and 1974-1976 and now for Schwinn at Pacific Cycle from 2005-present. I am proud working for Schwinn admiring their products from an early age. Upon hearing Schwinn was developing and having bicycles made in the USA for our 125th anniversary, the Schwinn Collegiate, I was never so proud to be a part of this company.’
