9-11 a.m. — First Baptist Church Food Pantry patrons now may enter the food pantry and receive their items. Those who are not vaccinated are asked to wear a mask and maintain social distancing.

7:30 p.m. — Vermillion Players present Footloose! The first play of the summer series at Chautauqua Park since 2019. Doors open at 7 p.m.

SATURDAY

FAIRBURY

7-11 a.m. — The VFW Auxiliary 9789 in Fairbury will be serving breakfast on June 18 between 7-11 a.m. The menu includes biscuits and gravy, pancakes and sausage, scrambled eggs, coffee, milk and juice. Carryouts and deliveries will be available by calling 815-692-4210 any time after 7 a.m. on the day of the breakfast. Donations will be accepted.

PONTIAC

9 a.m.- Evening — The 3rd Saturday Vintage Market from 11 a.m.-4 p.m., Historic Homes open 1-3 p.m., Waldmire Road Yacht open for tours 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and Cruise Night. Roads will be closed around the square for the Cruise Night beginning at 3 p.m.

FAIRBURY

11 a.m.-4 p.m. — The Fairbury Freedom Festival, sponsored by the Fairbury Echoes Museum, will be held in Marsh Park on June 18 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. with food and entertainment. There will be music by The Twin City Brass Quintet and the 33rd Illinois Volunteer Regiment Ban, food, exhibits and antique cars.

PONTIAC

10 a.m.-Noon — Livingston County Food Pantry will be open — drive-thru only.

FORREST

8 a.m.-Noon — Forrest spring town-wide garage sales from 8 a.m. to noon. Maps available at Casey's.

5-7 p.m. — Chatsworth Sons of the American Legion is partnering with B&B Hickory Smoke Barbeque for dinner on Wednesday, June 22. The menu includes pulled pork, beef brisket, chicken leg quarters, potato salad, coleslaw and baked beans. There are three different homemade BBQ sauces.
