Around the Hub: Lubbock's business news includes openings, announcements, more

Hello A-J readers!

This week, we had a mix of good news in the Lubbock business community. One coffee space announced its opening date, and two restaurants made similar announcements. Tito's Vodka also made a $1.2 million donation to the Davis College Water Center to help research.

On Friday, March 24, Scooters Coffee at 8101 Indiana Ave. will have its grand opening. People who order through the app can get their drinks for a 50% discount.

Snooze, an A.M. Eatery, will have their grand opening at 413 University Ave. on Wednesday, March 29. Snooze's hours will be 6:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. on weekdays and from 6:30 a.m.-4 p.m. on weekends.

La Placita, run by the same owner as the Rico Empanadas food truck, announced that their new location will open at 704 US-62 in Wolfforth on April 1. Little Red Riding Hood Nursey will also start the new month with its expansive greenhouse at 4415 Woodrow Road.
