HOLLAND — Parents and children alike enjoyed an annual celebration of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at Holland Museum on Monday, Jan. 16.
The all-day event offered MLK-inspired crafts, storytime and coloring sheets, in addition to winter-themed STEAM activities. Visitors were able to wander the galleries with a scavenger hunt, looking for interesting facts for a chance to win a children's book about MLK's life and teachings.
Storytime readers were slated to include Yadah Ramirez of the Holland/Zeeland Community Foundation, Kim Koeman of Women of Color Give and Bill Hoefer of Corewell Health Zeeland Community Hospital.
