Detectives were able to identify the suspect as Christopher Ty Garcia, 27. An aggravated robbery warrant was issued for Garcia out of Potter County.

On Monday, a member of the Amarillo Police Department Proactive Criminal Enforcement Unit (PACE) located Garcia in the 3300 block of Paramount Boulevard and arrested him for the warrant. Garcia was also found in possession of methamphetamine.

He was booked into the Randall County Jail on charges for possession of a controlled substance, his warrant for aggravated robbery, and seven local municipal warrants.

Officers determined that the weapon used in the robbery was located at a residence in the 4300 block of Northridge Drive in Potter County. A search warrant was secured for the residence, and the weapon was located.

Ubaldo Suarez Jr., 45, was arrested at that location on a charge for tampering with evidence. He was booked into the Potter County Detention Center.
