ARRESTED: Man charged after allegedly shooting at two vehicles

OPELIKA, Ala. (WRBL) – The Opelika Police said a man was arrested after he allegedly fired multiple shots at two vehicles early Monday morning.

The Opelika Police Department (OPD) responded to the 1300 block of Preston Street to a report of gunshots at 3:50 a.m. After arriving on the scene, officers found two vehicles struck by gunfire near a residence. OPD says, fortunately, no one was hurt but after additional investigation, officers arrested 34-year-old Dallas Ray Grigsby.

Grigsby is now charged with discharge of a firearm into an occupied dwelling, two counts of discharge of a firearm into an unoccupied vehicle, and possession of a controlled substance.
