Arrests made after deputies discover illegal marijuana cultivation in Hesperia
Arrests were made after sheriff’s deputies served a search warrant in Hesperia and discovered thousands of marijuana plants, magic mushrooms, processed flowers and other items.
San Bernardino County Sheriff’s officials reported that on Tuesday, deputies with the Hesperia Sheriff's Station and the Regional Marijuana Enforcement Team served the warrant in the 11200 block of Hesperia Road.
The block includes a large industrial building, which served as a auto repair show. Also, threchurches, a strip mall and a couple of residential structures.
Sheriff’s investigators responding to an illegal marijuana cultivation operation at the location discovered a commercial facility that was illegally cultivating marijuana and psilocybin mushrooms, commonly known as magic mushrooms.
Items seized from the location included over 2,800 marijuana plants, 400 pounds of processed marijuana and 12 pounds of processed psilocybin mushrooms.

At the scene, suspects Dejon Duchesne, 51, of Malibu and Frank Mendoza, 46, of Victorville were arrested on suspicion of illegal cultivation of marijuana, sheriff’s officials said.
Sheriff’s booking records on Thursday showed no information on Duchesne and Mendoza.
