Arrests Made During Pro-Immigration Rights Protest at Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco

Protesters gathered at the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco on Thursday, September 30, to demand a pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrants.

According to the California Highway Patrol, at least five people were arrested and four vehicles were towed due to the protest, KNTV reported.

This footage filmed by Instagram user @sfipanema shows California Highway Patrol vehicles and officers along the Golden Gate Bridge’s congested northbound route.

The protest organized by Papeles Para Todos, or the Movement for Citizenship for All, and the Bay Area Coalition for Economic Justice and Citizenship for All, also highlighted climate and racial justice issues, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. Credit: @sfipanema via Storyful
