Arrests Made as Oregon Police Deal With 'Aggressive Protesters'

Police in Salem, Oregon, said they made numerous arrests on New Year’s Day as anti-lockdown protesters gathered around the State Capitol area and the governor’s residence.

Police said they had to deal with “aggressive protestors”, some of whom “used chemical munitions against officers.”

Oregon Live said protesters were met with “a small group of left-wing protesters” near the Capitol.
