'Art With The Animals' paint and sip set for Darlington rescue ranch Paint N Sip

DARLINGTON TWP. — You're invited to pull up a hay bale in a big red barn for a step-by-step art lesson among the animals.

Truly a unique experience, Kindred Spirits Rescue Ranch in Darlington Township will host "Art With The Animals," a paint-and-sip fundraiser from 2-5 p.m. Nov. 14.

Guests should wear their boots for a meet 'n' greet with the barn animals.

Live music will be part of the BYOB event, for which proceeds benefit the nonprofit Kindred Spirits Rescue Ranch for abused and neglected animals.

"Art With The Animals" costs $45 at eventbrite.com (search "Art With The Animals") with all art supplies provided.

The painting subject will be the red barn landscape in acrylic on canvas.

"The fun, love and peacefulness of the ranch and its residents sets the mood for creativity to flourish," event co-host Lora Russell, of L. Russell Paintings, said.
