'Art as Mirror' exhibit opens Oct. 3 at Watermark Art Center

Sep. 30—BEMIDJI — Watermark Art Center's "Art as Mirror" exhibit will be on display starting Monday, Oct. 3, through Jan. 20 in the BSU Harlow — Kleven Gallery, 505 Bemidji Ave. N.

"Art reflects society's shifting culture and values. Through art, an artist has the ability to motivate the viewer to consider personal values and opinions and to cause change," a release said. "'Art as Mirror' is a timeless collection of prints and ceramics that ask us to consider who we are and who we want to be with regard to cultural, historical and political themes."
