The Cuyahoga Falls City School District and local partners will host the Ninth Annual CFCSD All City Art Walk, presented in part by the Cuyahoga Valley Art Center, with the theme "Art Transports Us!"

This family-friendly event is April 19 from 5 to 8 p.m., and will showcase the talents of Cuyahoga Falls artists in kindergarten through 12th grade.

With six locations as starting points, attendees can see a variety of art displays, make-and-take art activities, student music performances, artist demonstrations, local transportation exhibits, fun photo opportunities, a car show, a trackless train ride, a scavenger hunt, and more. The event will also feature over more than student transportation-themed artworks displayed on more than 53 storefront windows in downtown Cuyahoga Falls through April 21. Special attractions will be available along the walking route, with indoor locations for the main event at the Falls River Square Pavilion, Cuyahoga Valley Art Center, Up Front Art Space, Cuyahoga Falls Library, city hall, and First Christian Church. Featured artists for the event are local artists Rae Faba, Meryl Engler, and Bill Starcher. Transportation representatives and exhibits from the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad, the Clifford mini-museum, the Lighter Than Air Society, the Akron Children's Museum, the Cuyahoga Falls Fire Department, and Preston Elementary's Soap Box Derby Car will also be on hand. Participants can experience a special car show presented by Don Sitts Auto, and they can also take a free ride on the family-friendly "Magic Train.”

This year’s event features exclusive items for sale designed in partnership with local businesses. Grandpa Joe’s Candy Shop will be selling a commemorative art walk soda with a student-designed label, while Hope Soap will be offering a candle with student-directed art and scent. Harps and Thistles Yarn Emporium will have one-of-a-kind hand-dyed yarn by Cuyahoga Falls High School artists, with labels made by DeWitt Elementary students. Metropolis Popcorn also will be featuring celebrity scoopers throughout the night.
