Artist Es Devlin unveils installation at UN HQ

STORY: British artist Es Devlin unveiled an art installation at the United Nations Headquarters

Location: New York

The 'Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Pavilion'

is based on 17 goals that aim to provide a better world by 2030

"So 17 doors, 17 artists and activists, cultural thinkers, writers from every continent each providing their own lense on one of the goals, each offering a door, a point of entry for someone to start to dig into it because they are complex, they are not simple. And we have made these gradients so each of the colours instead of being a solid colour like it is in the badge is fading in or out, it's up to you to decide. Are we half there? Are we half full, are we half empty, it's blurry, it's not clear, things aren't clear and I think this is honest about that."
