Arvada Police Detain 1 Juvenile For Investigation Of Threats Against Ralston Valley High School

Police in Arvada confirmed that one juvenile was detained Tuesday for investigation of two new specific threats against students, staff and faculty at Ralston Valley High School.

JIM BENEMANN: Police in Arvada say safe to tell reports help them get on top of several threats at a high school. It's one of today's top stories on CBSN Denver. Police say on Monday afternoon, officers went to Ralston Valley High and strategically released students to safety. The school was then given the all clear.

Then Tuesday morning, cops got word of two more threats at the same school. One juvenile was detained for investigation of threats against students, staff, and faculty. District attorney's office says it can't comment on the details of those threats.
