Arvato Supply Chain Solutions — an international supply chain management and e-commerce service provider — celebrated the grand opening of its new Memphis office, 3303 E. Holmes Road, on Wednesday.

“As a logistics company, you have to have a footprint in Memphis,” said Mitat Aydindag, Arvato Supply Chain Solutions CEO of North America. “It’s a logistic hub and geographically located perfectly to serve the entire U.S. and we hope that continue that here in Memphis, Tennessee.”

An estimated 250-300 employees will work at the more than 300,000-square-foot Arvato Supply Chain Solutions office in Memphis, according to the company. Most of these will be office positions.

Why is Arvato Supply Chain Solutions opening a Memphis location?

Arvato Supply Chain Solutions opened a Memphis office after taking over distribution for UK-based medical device manufacturer Smith & Nephew, which has a large presence in the Bluff City.
