Ash Darkens Sky Over Barbados Amid St Vincent Volcano Eruption

Ash clouded the sky over Barbados on Sunday, April 11, as the eruption of the La Soufriere volcano on St Vincent plunged islands in the Caribbean into darkness.

The Barbados Meteorological Services issued a volcanic ash and small craft warning Sunday as ash fell on the island.

The eruption of the La Soufriere volcano sent ash traveling across over 100 miles of ocean and over parts of Barbados.
