Asheville Citizen Times subscribers to keep home delivery; Henderson residents by mail

Dear Citizen Times subscribers: I’d like to clear up some confusion regarding a letter we recently sent to select subscribers regarding a change in delivery.

Our sister publication, the Hendersonville Times-News, is transitioning from being delivered by carriers to delivery via the United States Postal Service. As a result, beginning Jan. 29, a number of Asheville Citizen Times subscribers who reside in Henderson County and areas beyond our defined distribution footprint will also be receiving their papers via mail delivery.

Newspaper delivery to be impacted on Tuesday, April 6, 2021.

The letter indicated all subscribers of the Asheville Citizen Times will be receiving their delivery via mail. That is not accurate ― the vast majority of Asheville Citizen Times subscribers will see no changes. We sincerely apologize for the miscommunication.

For subscribers in Henderson County, we realize this may affect your morning routine as our printed newspaper will arrive later in the day; however, you can access our digital website at any time for breaking news and local content along with the eNewspaper, a digital replica of that day’s newspaper, in the early morning as part of your subscription. It’s always available on time, every day.

Please check out the eNewspaper and our tutorial at citizentimes.com/enewstutorial.
