ASHEVILLE - Restaurants across the city are uniting to bring exclusive meals and deals to diners for one week only.

The 2023 Asheville Restaurant Week will run Jan. 17-Jan. 23 with more than 40 participating businesses offering new dishes, special pricing, freebies and unique dining experiences, in addition to their regular menus.

The annual event series, presented by the Asheville Chamber of Commerce, aids to spotlight and support the city’s wealth of restaurant and culinary talents while saving customers a few bucks in the process.

Diners are encouraged to visit favorites and discover new eateries and order from their curated Asheville Restaurant Week menus.

The restaurants range from casual to fine dining and in cuisine styles at various price points, so there are plenty of options for diners to try throughout the week.

Here is a list of dining venues and a sampling of what will be served during the 2023 Asheville Restaurant Week.

Menu highlights

Bhramari Brewing Co. will offer a prix fixe three-course dinner for two for $40 that includes a shared platter of house-baked mac, two cheeseburgers and a serving of Daisy’s Mocha Mousse Brownie.

Chestnut will offer a prix fixe three-course meal for $33 with options including a winter citrus salad and harissa mussels and entrées of winter squash vindaloo, petite filet and potato-crusted salmon.

Huli Sue’s BBQ & Grill will have a couple of freebies ― sweet Maui onion chips will be served with every burger purchased and all kids plates will be served with a free Aloha Maid guava or passionfruit drink. A 10% discount will be applied to all barbecue plates. The Big Kahuna Hawaiian Mix Plate will be offered for $19 and the chocolate drizzles coconut macaroons for only 50 cents each.

Ivory Road will offer a $15 two-course brunch menu that features a shiitake, leek and goat cheese quiche and a $33 three-course dinner menu that features a Lusty Monk-Seared Pork Chop.

White Labs Brewing Co. will offer a prix fixe three-course menu for $45 per person that includes a winter kale salad, spaghetti al Tartufo Nero, a slice of pistachio and orange cheesecake, plus a beer flight.

Vegan and vegetarian dishes are available at places such as Laughing Seed Café, Green Safe Café, and Tahini Jar ― a plant-based Middle Eastern fusion cuisine food truck.
