Two words that Asheville Tourists fans have been looking forward to since last fall. The minor-league baseball franchise opened its season over the weekend in Kentucky and will play the first of 66 home games Tuesday at McCormick Field vs. the Greenville Drive. For the first time since the 2019 campaign, the Asheville Tourists will play a full season with 66 home games.

Due to the pandemic, the 2020 season was cancelled, while the 2021 season started in May and there were attendance limits for part of the year. This year there are no attendance limits and no requirements of wearing a mask to games.
