Ashland commissioners OK $39K to replace doors, upgrade lock system at courthouse

Ashland County Board of Commissioners

Thursday, July 13, meeting

KEY ACTION  Commissioners accepted a $38,988 estimate from Wooster Glass for the replacement of all exterior doors and an upgraded locking system at the Ashland County Courthouse.

DISCUSSION  “As most of you know, we are doing windows there now and these are just to continue the exterior upgrades,” said Commissioner Denny Bittle. “Especially on the east side, they are well needed.

“What is not included in this price is there is going to be some demo work on the east-side steps and landing area. But we haven’t completely finished all that engineering to see what we are going to do with those steps.”
