The results are in and here is the list of candidates who won their 2023 general election races in Ashland County.
Although the city of Ashland did not have any contested races, there was a countywide vote to re-elect Judge John Good as municipal court judge as well as Larry Paxton as Director of Finance and Richard Wolfe as the city's Director of Law. Dan Lawson ran for Council at Large and Steve is now 1st ward city council member. Mayor Matt Miller was not on the ballot this election cycle, but will be on the cycle in 2025 as he will be running for his third term.
The positions for the 2023 general elections included local offices, which include city finance and law director; city council; village mayor, village council, village board of public affairs; trustee; fiscal officer; educational service center board member; and board of education member.
