Nominations are being sought for Ashland County Women of Achievement class of 2022.

Forms may be picked up at the Ashland Public Library, Loudonville Public Library, other local businessesand on the Ashland County Ohio Women of Achievement Facebook page. Application deadline is Sept. 30.Former recipients, friends, employees and family members are welcome to nominate women who havereached beyond themselves to contribute substantially to the quality of life in Ashland County throughinvolvement with family, career, community and social issues.In addition to the Ashland County Women of Achievement Awards, the committee is seeking nominationsfor an Ashland County Young Woman to Watch. The young person should be between the age of 15 and 21and be in line with many of the qualities of the Woman of Achievement Award.

A one-page description of the nominee, written by a non-family member, may be submitted for consideration to the same address. A cash award will be given to the winning recipient at the annual ceremony Nov. 3 at MountVernon Estate Events, 1041 US 250 Ashland. Social begins at 6:30 p.m. with ceremony at 7 p.m.Kay Conrad is remembered each year through her efforts to recognize and lift Ashland County women.Conrad established the organization in 1991 and led it to official nonprofit status. Ashland County Women of Achievement has founder-member status with the Ashland County Community Foundation.Nominations should be submitted online or mailed to Women of Achievement, c/o Jane Roland, 1719 Deermeadow Court Ashland 44805, or emailed to ashlandcountywomenofachievement@gmail.com.
