Ashland's Makaree Chapman named first team All-District 6 in Division I
ASHLAND — When it came to girls basketball players in the District 6 area, Makaree Champman jumped off the page.
The Ashland guard averaged 9.4 points, seven rebounds and 2.5 assists for the Arrows, and the coaches of the Ohio High School Basketball Coaches Association in District 6 took notice. They voted Chapman as a first team All-District 6 player, and she was one of just five individuals to earn that honor.
She was joined on the list by teammates Camryn Cox (second team) and Lauren Green (honorable mention).
