Ashley Benson, Troian Bellisario, and More “Pretty Little Liars” Stars Reunite at German Comic Con
The days of decoding messages from “A” may be long behind us, but that doesn’t mean that Pretty Little Liars fans have stopped loving the iconic series. As it turns out, the cast is just as nostalgic as we are, as evident by their epic reunion at German Comic Con on Saturday, December 7.
Several stars including Ashley Benson, Troian Bellisario, Janel Parrish, Keegan Allen, Ian Harding, and Tammin Sursok were all in attendance at the event, and, naturally, a ton of pictures and videos ensued. Ashley, who portrayed Hanna Marin during the series’ 7-year run, posted a series of clips to her IG story, including footage of her and Troian (Spencer Hastings) posing with fans making the classic “shh” gesture. In another video, the entire group is seen laughing and joking around, with Keegan (Toby Cavanaugh) doing a silly dance that was luckily caught on camera. The videos were subsequently captured and shared by fans, who were understandably excited to see the cast reunite.
Tammin, who played Jenna Marshall, shared a series of photos as well. “Got to see some familiar faces❤️” she wrote on Instagram.
Members of the PLL Army soon took to social media to share their excitement about the reunion. “Omg I can’t believe a PLL reunion is happening right now I’m so emotional,” one person wrote on Twitter, while another exclaimed: “I can’t believe there is a PLL reunion and we are RIGHT THERE WITNESSING IT.”
This truly memorable PLL reunion took place a few months after its spinoff series, The Perfectionists, was officially cancelled after just one season. The second venture into the PLL universe followed Mona (Janel Parrish) and Alison (Sasha Pieterse) as they traveled cross country to Beacon Heights University, where they soon became tangled up in yet another murder mystery.
It remains to be seen whether or not this is truly goodbye to seeing our favorite PLL characters on screen (after all, the cast has dropped hints about the possibility of a movie someday), but for now, we’ll be satisfied with adorable reunions like this to fill the Rosewood-sized hole in our hearts.
