The proposed sale of the Cincinnati Southern Railway has been a focus of my work in recent weeks, but the business of City Hall continues.

City Manager Sheryl Long hired a new assistant city manager, who started work yesterday. Natasha Hampton – one of three assistant city managers now working for Cincinnati – comes to town after being fired as the city manager of College Park, Maryland, before she even started. Hampton also left her job before that with a confidential settlement.
