NEENAH – Associated Bank has announced it's closing its branch inside Festival Foods at 647 S. Green Bay Road.

It's one of 13 branches the Green Bay-based company will be closing as of Nov. 18. Seven of the locations are in Wisconsin; the others are in Illinois. Five of the Wisconsin branches closing are in Festival Foods locations — in Eau Claire, Manitowoc, Marshfield and Suamico, besides Neenah. The other Wisconsin branches closing are in Madison and Mosinee.

Associated Bank said each of the branches it's closing will be consolidated with another local branch — the Neenah Festival Foods branch is consolidating with the branch at 100 W. Wisconsin Ave.

"The consolidations align with an industrywide trend, which includes consumers' adaption to digital banking, a smaller branch footprint and lower frequency of walk-in traffic," Associated Bank spokesperson Jennifer Kaminski said. "Associated will work with impacted colleagues to find a new role within the company, where positions are available."
