Assumption forward named Kentucky Miss Field Hockey as All-State teams are revealed

Assumption High School’s Tyler Everslage has been named 2022 Miss Field Hockey by the Kentucky Field Hockey Coaches Association.

Everslage posted 50 goals and 17 assists while helping the Rockets win the state championship, beating Sacred Heart 3-2 in the title match. Assumption finished the season with a 23-5-1 record.

Everslage, a senior forward, has signed with the University of Louisville.

Other award winners named by the KFHCA were Manual’s Julia May (Debbie Judd Hockey Hustle), Christian Academy’s Mia Schoenbeck (Bunny Daugherty Defensive Player of the Year), Assumption’s Callie Edmonds (Rachel Caroline Baker Memorial Sportsmanship) and Ballard’s Allison Masyada (Coach of the Year).
